Everything you need to know about formula 1

Formula 1 is single seater auto-racing which is owned by the Formula one group. The auto-racing first began in the year 1950 and has been quite popular ever since. The sport is named “formula” as there are a set of rules by which all the racers should abide. The season one of the race has a series of race, and they are known as the Grands Prix. Grands Prix in French means grand prices. These races that are held in season one is held both on public roads and circuit roads.

Calculation of the results:

Points systems are used to determine the results of the races. Two annual world champions are announced: one for the best driver and the other for the best constructor. If you want to be a part of the race as a driver you need to have a valid Super License which is issued by the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA).

Merchandising environment:

The cars which are built for Formula One racing are said to be one of the fastest cars, and it is one of the fastest road course racing events in the whole world. There are many financial and political battles which are reported with Formula One racing, and its popularity has made it a merchandising event. Many sponsors and investors from all over the world come forward to provide the budget for the race.

History:

race16 The formula one series is a car race which originated from the Grand Prix motor racing. After the World War II, people came with a new formula. A number of racing organisations had come up with their own rules before the war, but that was not considered as there were many conflicts. The first race was held in the year 1950 in the United Kingdom, and the championship for the constructor was given only during the year 1958.

Racing:

The race usually happens over the weekend, and it begins with a practice session which is held on Friday, and another practice session is held on Saturday. The third drivers who are the additional drivers are allowed to drive the cars on Friday, but a team can use only two cars for the practice sessions. After the practice session, a qualifying round is held, and that determines the order in which the race starts on Sunday. For the qualifying session, the driver usually has more than one session to set their fastest time. During the year 2006, the qualifying sessions were known as the knock-out where the race is divided into Q1, Q2 and Q3. The drivers need to race their way to qualify for the next round in each period. The slowest drivers will be knocked out, and the fastest will move on to the next rounds.

Ayrton Senna:

Aryton Senna was a Brazilian driver, and he had won the world championship for about three times. He was one of the greatest racers the world has ever seen, but he sadly was killed in an accident while he was leading the 1994 Grand Prix. Ayrton was such a charismatic driver, and he was very dedicated to the sport. It is said that he had the ability to utilize each and every part of the track and he was able to gain speed from absolutely nothing.

 Michael Schumacher:

Michael Schumacher is a name which all of us must have heard. He was a German driver and had extremely good racing skills. Schumacher is also one of the most successful Formula One racers of all times, and he had a huge fan base. He was the only Formula One driver who has ever one even championship in which he won five of them consecutively. He also holds the record for winning the most number of Grand Prix and the most races won during a single season.

Juan Manuel Fangio:

Juan Manuel Fangio: The Argentine car racer has won the championship for about five times, and he was often called El Chueco which means the Bowlegged one. He set a record by winning the championship for five times which was unbeaten for about 47 years. He was passionate about his racing career and loved what he did.

Fernando Alonso:

Fernando Alonso was a Spanish racing driver, and he won the world championship twice. He has held various records in Formula One, and he was also the youngest drivers to qualify on Pole position. Alonso also won the Grand Prix at Hungarian Grand Prix and Malaysian Grand Prix in the year 2003.

Nelson Piquet:

Nelson Piquet is a Brazilian racing driver, and he is also a businessman. Before becoming a racer, he was a tennis player for a little while. He drove for the McLaren and Brabham teams for the Formula One Racing. Currently, he is retired and runs various businesses.

Jackie Stewart:

Jackie Stewart was popularly known as Flying Scot and was known as one of the best formula one driver. He won three drivers championships, and he became the runner-up two times.

The second annual Drag Racing Festival in March saw two jam-packed days of full-throttle speed. One of the most anticipated yearly events in Abu Dhabi, and the UAE, this did not disappoint. Watching 8,000 horsepower go from zero to over 480km / hr in LESS THAN 4 SECONDS really gets the blood rushing. The match race between FIA World Champion Urs Erbacher and the 2007 Top Fuel Vice Champion, ‘Hot Rod’ Fuller had to be seen to be believed. The exhibition runs kept crowds enthralled, as we were joined by world renowned UK Fire Force Jet Funny Car. This sell-out event was buzzing from start to finish; extraordinary vehicles on the tracks, and a host of music and entertainment around the track created a real festival atmosphere.
