Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management - ADMM L.L.C. is a joint venture between the Government of Abu Dhabi and ALDAR Properties PJSC, the leading developer in the Emirate. Incorporated in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the company was established in 2008 to oversee the construction of Yas Marina Circuit, home of the 2009 Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and the successful ongoing operations of the track.
ADMM will manage the Circuit’s racing properties as well as all other facilities on the Circuit grounds, including the drag strip and karting. ADMM’s management team, consisting of leading industry professionals, is committed to delivering a world-class and state-of-the-art motorsport venue.

His Excellency Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak has been instrumental in both the securing of the Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix for Abu Dhabi and in the creation and development of Yas Marina Circuit. In February 2007 he became the founding Chairman of Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management, which was established by the Government of Abu Dhabi to act as custodian for, and manager of, both Yas Marina Circuit and the Formula 1™ Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Khaldoon fulfils key roles in both the public and private sectors of the United Arab Emirates through leadership positions with the Executive Affairs Authority of Abu Dhabi and Mubadala Development Company.
A member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Khaldoon is Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority of the Government of Abu Dhabi. This specialised government agency is mandated to provide strategic policy advice to the Chairman of Abu Dhabi’s Executive Council, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
Khaldoon is also CEO and Managing Director of Mubadala Development Company, a public joint stock company owned by the Government of Abu Dhabi. With a domestic and international outlook, Mubadala develops projects, creates new businesses, and invests in existing enterprises to generate financial returns and sustainable benefits for the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Through the sheer breadth of its operations, Mubadala both contributes to and is a reflection of the rapid diversification of the Abu Dhabi economy.

Richard Cregan joined Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management (ADMM) from Toyota Motorsport where he has played an integral role since joining in 1984. In those years Richard took on many roles within the team including rally mechanic, workshop manager and later operations manager for Toyota’s championship-winning rally programme and the Le Mans 24 hour project.
In 1999 Richard worked closely with Ove Andersson on the set up of Toyota’s F1 project, he then went on to become General Manager F1 Operations in 2001. In 2004 he assumed the role of Team Manager, responsible for the smooth operation of the team and regular liaison with F1’s governing body, the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) as well as ensuring that the team complied with the strict sporting regulations during race weekend.
Richard’s former position at Toyota and strong background in engineering, business strategy and applied finance made him the ideal candidate for the role of Chief Executive Officer at ADMM.
